THREE SIMPLE STEPS TO PUBLISHING
- Tell us about your work by sending us a brief synopsis. We will send you information about our requirements for authors, and additional details about publishing your book with us. Also, tell us the genre, even if it seems obvious to you. Then tell us about yourself and your career, and also include a photo of yourself (preferably a jpeg or gif).
- Send us your manuscript in one file by mail or e-mail (again, MS Word allows us the smoothest conversion). Also include any necessary cover art or illustrations along with the signed contract and a check or money order for your deposit. (We cannot return manuscripts, photos, art, et cetera without a prior arrangement.)
- Communicate with us! If we haven't called or e-mailed you to acknowledge acceptance of your work, we may not have received your signed contract and deposit. (Our total turnaround from receipt to publication is usually 120 days.) Otherwise, we'll be in touch. It's that easy!

We evaluate for publishing all manuscripts that are in paper or WORD Document computer file format, that:
- Are concerning the fiction and non-fiction subjects generally considered part of an enjoyable or informative reading experience.
- Are considered to be on an acceptable level of educational, intellectual or entertainment excellence suitable for proliferation to the reading public.
- Are representative of our company in ways that benefit and enhance our reputation to the reading public, which are our audience of readers and our fellows and associates.
We accept fiction and non-fiction, literature, essays and poetry, and are open to mixed-genre works.
In all cases, quality and accuracy are paramount considerations; new authors are welcome.
We must have your entire work in one, all-inclusive, contiguous Microsoft Word file, and the file should include, in proper order, the following:
- The document should be sized into a 5.25 x 8 inch frame, using Page Setup, unless otherwise stated.
- The margins are to be set to 0.75” for top, bottom, left and right sides, with a gutter of 0.12”
- Do not put numbers (nor headers or footers) on each page (we will put these on).
include the following (as is appropriate):
a. A title page
b. A dedication
c. A table of contents, if needed
d. An introduction or preface (if desired)
The Chapter headings in this ONE contiguous Word file are to be clear and differentiated, and each chapter is to begin on a new page.
At the end of the book, still part of the contiguous, one-piece, non-separated Word file, please include the following:
- An epilogue, or summation chapter of the story that is presented
- Any appendices, glossary, or index information, as needed or desired
- A short biographical page
- Any final author information, such as a continuation of the series, author literary credits or awards, other works by the author, et cetera
Still using the same one-piece, contiguous Word file, include the following information for the front and back cover:
- The author’s opinion as to the genre (and sub-genre, as warranted)
- The author’s suggestions as to the front and back cover
- Back cover – author’s suggestion as to the headline, refrain line, a very brief synopsis oriented to the would-be book buyer for enhancing sales
- Any reviews or credits that can be mentioned briefly on the back cover
Please supply a good picture for the back cover, preferably in color
Also, please remember that this is to be in one contiguous Word file (without sections, zones, etc.). In preparing the entire manuscript, do not make any indentations and avoid hard returns. Please fully justify the entire work. We will make any required changes.
Please do not leave “widows and orphans” at the end of each paragraph, which can occur when one fully justifies the document. Use a hard return only at the end of each paragraph.
Single-space the work, using Times New Roman, 10-point font, unless otherwise stated, except for chapter headings and other headings.
Please spell-check the entire document, correcting all spelling, punctuation and the grammatical structure, when appropriate.
Please note that most books are between 50-100,000 words.
